Malvern Fire Department

The City of Malvern currently has two (2) entry level firefighter positions to be filled. Entry level Firefighter tests will be given at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the North Malvern Fire Station located in the 700 block of Moline Street.

Qualifications and age requirements for the positions, and application packets for the testing may be obtained from the City's website at www.malvernar.gov or picked up at the Personnel Office at City hall, 305 Locust. The City of Malvern offers a beginning salary of $24,646.41 (before certification) for the position. The benefit package includes overtime, pay incentives, uniform allowance, longevity, paid retirement, paid insurance, 13 paid holidays, 15 days paid vacation and 20 days sick leave (after one year). Applicants must possess a valid Arkansas Drivers License and be capable of using tool to perform manual labor, and perform various other duties as assigned.

High school education or equivalent required.
